Take it or leave it. It's a list enough for me.
Thanks, was simple enough, kinda.
So animations are not there, so all the numerous furniture around the environment is still worth a poo pile without mods, sad, was hoping they would finaly make the oldest world objects useable under vanila setup (i dont count the imaginery sleeping mechanic).
Still they are adding a lot of interesting things. Interesting and funny too when imagining what a huge ammount of time is required to enjoy all of it while at the same time it can be instantly nullified by a deadly phase-through roof, nonpreventable insta-grab/pulldown on top of stairs as you can see sh... untill its too late, or any of the silly nonpreventable bites through wall edges (basicaly a phantom bite, as you dont even see the Z during its bite, only once it is releasing you), bite from woodzees that are invisible behind a tree that is 6 times thinner than them 😂, etc... One bite death will still remain the key factor for players to continue min/maxing supersoldiers / builders / scavenger etc. instead of dedicating long term. Was hoping devs would do something about motivating long term character survival AND its developement 😔. In summary this will encourage short lived specialised builds even more. Well there are still enthusiasists who will try to pull it all at once, will be fun.
I did mention that above: "(i dont count the imaginery sleeping mechanic)."
Modders done this game a huge service with their creations in this field (various animations).
This is one of the things that sucks the most. You have a huge world, graphics are bad for modern age, but I grew to love it, with its fixed views. You have a lot of furniture everywhere, yet you can not use it per its natural use. Vanila has sadly only this "resting aura" that you can trigger with certain actions.
So sad as we lovr these small things. Surviving a huge horde onslaught, fixing things back, burning all the deads, cleaning out, then finaly go to mess hall, chef brings fresh rabbit soup with spices and all of us sit together at the table, eating and drinking. Thats the fine camaradie moments. Small part, unadressed by Vanila, buz through mods a great moment 🙂
Car are by far the biggest issue. Almost no work for car animation. We only got light, youhou !
There is a mod that adds a lot of car animations, including opening of its parts and you can even see the engines/interior. Modders are quite a blessing for this game.
Although personaly I dont like mods, prefer if Vanila gets updates instead but for this gamr it is almost a must given hiw modders fill in all those holes in the game.
Even if they lack the two orientations, they add a lot even as they are, so I wouldnt mind if they opened it at least in the scope that they work, its EA afterall, it does not have to be perfect,...yet. 😆
