CDDA challenge too easy.
I'm not good at this game by any means, I am now 3 months in on my CDDA playthrough. Challenge needs to be harder.

It's just a gimmick. All loot is extremely rare, zombie limits are set to insane.
Try the movie studio - it has some of the zombies as sprinters and high spawns.
Or just fiddle with Sandbox to adjust those nipple clamps you seem to enjoy so much.

You are definitely good at the game, by some means. After 350+ hours I can barely survive 1+ months with friendly sandbox settings, Pretty sure I'd die horrifically to CDDA repeatedly.

CDDA's biggest hurdle is the start. Once you get out of that fire and get rid of your cold, it's just a 6 months later playthrough.

Luckily for you are there people who feel the same and a mod has been made.

Zombies spawning in massive numbers literally everywhere on the map and no rally groups? sounds like hell i love it

It's a fun game, the main issue with PZ is that when you start tweaking the difficulty past a certain point it largely limits the player's agency in the world. CDDA was supposed to reproduce the starting challenge scenario "A really bad day" from the infamous Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead, which for the most part it does.
