Can't put shelf above cabinet since the "Place" button is also the "Open Cabinet" button.

I'm hoping there's a way around it. I checked the keybindings to see if there was a way to replace Left Click with Enter for example. That way, only the building key is recognized, and not the default all around Left Click.
When I try to place it, I try and find a sweet spot. But whether I zoom in or out, the mouse lands just at the corner of the cabinet to not allow me to place the double shelves.

It'll be a pain moving everything. I have the cabinet full of canned foods, and wanted the shelves to add to that. Along with another one for other cooking supplies that way they're all by the cooking stove to make it easier for cooking and stuff like that.
I already reorganized some food around after I got a new freezer, and moved the generator to get all the rooms that were powered, only to realize the fridge was just out of bounds. I readjusted the generator so it covers everything I use.

Yeah, I have this problem trying to put a radio on the kitchen counter. If I'm standing too close, it assumes I want to Open Cabinet. I figured out if I click the Place Item and then walk a tile or two over and face away, it knows I mean Place Item.
