You can use any file sharing website of your choice or a temporary one like tmpsend.com for example.
I'm having this exact problem too. You can retrieve my logs.zip under
https://tmpsend.com/w1XK2Jte
This happens when:
- I start the game
- try to join the game of a friend via steam invite
- I type in the server password, user name and user password
After that, the message "Error 1" pops up for a second in the right hand corner of the screen
I'm currently playing on a machine running openSUSE Tumbleweed.
And can you try joining the server through the Steam Friends list instead? Rightclick > Join Game
So after trying a bit I got to join the server. I did it by filtering for the name and refreshing and waiting for like 2 min so the server shows up (it's a password protected Server). If I join THEN and by that method, it works. So joining via ingame Server Browser works.
Joining by Right-clicking via Steam friends doesn't work either.
also i do see the zomboid folder but im not sure why when i copy it onto the site it doesnt accept the whole thing unless its because its something more specific that you need ill send the link of the folder but when i click the link myself it says download not found or something like that, https://tmpsend.com/ mVXFd7LY
As for the file, I specifically need the logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid, not the whole folder, as it will not accept the whole folder, and it is likely way too large to be sent over either way. The logs.zip file found there is enough.
