My guess would be that you used a sledgehammer to destroy a piece of the home, or you dismantled one of the floor tiles above and then destroyed the resulting dirt tile.
Some variation there-of.
In any case, there's basically a bug that makes the game see any building as an outside area if you do that. The easiest way to check is look at the temperature inside. I don't know what it is in Celsius, but in Farhenheit the inside temp is roughly 74 degrees if it's properly made... if not, it's the same as outdoor temp.
If this happens, there is ONE solution.
Leave your home and build somewhere else. This time sucking it up any time you make a mistake. Plan your home more carefully... double, triple, and quadruple check your action before you build something.
As for the Washing machine plumbing... that, too is bugged a tiny bit. Hook it up and it won't work. You'll get the option to hook it up again and again and again... etc...
The solution is easy. After you do the initial plumbing hook up, log out, come back in again. Or leave the area on a looting run or something. Leave and come back, in other words. It will be hooked up when you get back.
i actually discovered the issue, it was actually a change introduced by the latest patch:

see that wooden support column on the right side? one of the latest patch stated that now they're automatically added. I merely removed it with a sledgehammer and the bathroom immediatelly became indoors.
