Not sure if it works the same way in an MP server, but in split screen coop, you can wake up any time you want just by moving in any direction.
Personally I use this one on mine server:

There is a bunch of them in workshop really, search keyword "sleep", but I prefer this one because it can be adjusted right how we feel right and do not requare additional mods / filechanges;

Aditionaly to the previos mod I recomend this one, it is extremely useful and lore friendly option for small 2-4 players server.

hi thx for that . can you tell me what settings i should be using for this mod? and does it fastforward time? because that's what i don't want

There's a mod called sleeping in mp. If you combine that with mod options, you should be able to achieve exactly what you want. It'll let you choose exactly how much faster time goes by during sleep. You can set the multiplier to 1 or 0 so it shouldn't speed up sleep at that point. Sleep tight, I guess. :D

In Don't Starve Together, you lie in a tent or on a bedroll, time passes the same as when you're awake, monsters may come.

Don't Starve might be different, don't remember. :)

bascially in dont starve you would trade food ( full stomach) for sleep, you sleep for about a few minutes to get back sanity, in PZ how i would like it to work is you have to sleep for atleast 1-2 ingame hours real time to get a full sleep, to get rid of fatigue. and maybe an option to setup that fatigue can take up to 2 days to kick in, but something along those line. this is to make items such as painkillers, sleeping tablets usefull
