for clothing, i don't know if there's modded cloths in that MP server you played on, preferebly want to use clothing that has leather really and level up your tailoring too for that extra defend
you also don't need brave trait, 1 lil sip of beer is enough to clear multiple horde
If you want to use long blunt, take Brawler.
Brave is unnecessary since Beta Blockers exist. Always bring painkillers if you know you are going to get hurt. And sterilized bandages to treat those wounds.
Clothing option isn't that important if you don't have level 10 tailoring, where you can deck yourself out to 90%+ bite resistance on almost every part of your body.

Here is a build I use for SP and MP that is definitely a zed killing machine.
Don't mind the stuttering, my recording software doesn't like the quick zooming in/out.
I'll share that build with you if you want, but you'll have to give yourself enough time to build the skills up.
The main one to avoid being Asthmatic. Low Thirst and Light Eater you can phase out as you start to get established. But for dropping wild straight into a server you've never played before and u dont know what to expect i think they are surefire to start off with a decent advantage if loot is low.
I also use eagle eye help spot other players hopefully before they spot you.
It doesn't often work out, but in theory its the kind of advantage you need.
Clothing? Boots for the extra stomp damage, and do stomp as many zombies as possible to save wear and tear on your good weapons. Then just dress for the environment so you don't get hypothermia or sick. Take Outdoorsman, and you can ignore dressing for the rain.
If you know how to fight zombies properly, then armor is just dead weight that reduces how much loot you can carry. Not like maximum layering of leather clothes, with lvl 10 leather patches, gives you 100% protection anyway - You roll the dice if you ever let a zombie finish an attack.
But armor is useful for PVP, since player attacks are harder to predict. So if you plan on getting into gunfights, the lvl 10 leather patches can give you some bullet protection over each part of your body. But you still take a big risk if you aren't the first one to start shooting. Safest way to handle a fight is to end it before they even realize what happened.
If you can survive a few months with all sprinters, then only PVP could offer you a challenge again.
But here are some blanket recommendations that should not fail you:
Occupation: Policeman
-Str 10
-Fitness 9
Focuses on guns, starts with nimble 2. Has to deal with panic management, at least in the early game. Fear of blood is the contentious point but you need the points to get all the good stuff.
Negatives:
Thin-skinned +8
High thirst +6
Slow Healer +6
Underweight +6
Fear of blood +5
Claustrophobic +4
Conspicuous +4
Prone to illness +4
Smoker +4
Weak stomach +3
Cowardly +2
Short Sighted +2
Slow reader +2
Positives:
Speed demon -1
Dextrous -2
Fast reader -2
Outdoorsman -2
Wakeful -2
Gymnast -5
Fast learner -6
Organized -6
Handy -8
Athletic -10
Strong -10
This perk baseline works for repairman, unemployed, fire officer, with some minor perk tweaking and or sacrifices.
Positives:
Strong 10 - Great boost to your strength if you need it short term
Athletic 10 - You need the stamina to keep swinging or running if you need to
Dextrous 2 - Feels nice and shortens the time you're doing a lot of actions involving your pockets.
Cat's Eyes 2 - Having better vision at Night is always great.
Speed Demon 1 - Basically a filler and it's better to be faster than it is to be slower. Worse cars with Sunday Driver or just normal speed can get slowed down pretty significantly, just drive carefully since in this case you bought the whole speedometer and you intend to use the whole speedometer.
Negatives:
Smoker 4 - Pretty much always a must have, it's simple to circumvent just smoking every once in a while to cure stress, flavor is nice.
Clumsy 2 - You're already choosing a gung-ho spare no man, woman, or child you might as well make sure the entire area is clear with sound.
Conspicuous 4 - Draws them from farther away, if you're really into combat it can help clear areas.
Weak Stomach 3 - Just don't eat bad food, easy take.
High thirst 6 - Can be annoying but keep a bottle of water or perhaps two depending on what you're doing, otherwise it's high need for easy to obtain resources.
Thin Skinned 6 - I constantly play this with a "Just don't get hit, every hit could just mean death." So thin skinned covers those bases quicker with a big point boost. Plus the faster zombification rate is a boon to me, I set it to happen instantly anyway so there's no beating around the bush.
Short Sighted 2 - You can circumvent the negatives by wearing glasses, be careful if you trip since I believe they can get knocked off your face.
Prone to Illness 4 - Seems to be pretty hard to get sick and you have a lot of time to prepare for any time you could catch a could, another case of free points.
Zombies usually bite the entire area above your waist, they can seemingly only scratch/lascerate your legs from when they do a lunge when they fall over fences. Zombies are more likely to inflict a bite if they're behind you when they grab you.
Clothing is tough and something you should decide in the moment depending on your needs, mostly for defense you want to gravitate towards leather jackets but that also builds up heat and some specific leather jackets decrease your speed while attacking, they do so in varying amounts so look for some that lower the amount by a good bit.
Bullet Proof Vests are great to cover your chest and stomach, but it never ends up meaning 100% safety. It gives a big boost to your bite defense there, but I've had a time where I was bitten through it from the front and was not happy, they're heavy but don't hinder you at all so it's good to consider.
Shoes depend on what you want to do. Sneakers make you quieter and run faster at the cost of them I believe having lower durability? And they are the worst at stomping out zombies. Regular shoes are the middle ground and pretty much a default in every lane. Boots are louder pretty significantly and what I'd suggest for this build and what I use as a whole, they do a lot more stomp damage and I recommend boots since it's a good fallback in case your arms are damaged in any capacity. Push and stomp.
