Really unlucky, can't find generator magazine

Day 31 on my zomboid playthrough. Power's been out for 10 days now, and I can't find the "all about generators" magazine so that I can hook up my generator. I've scoured basically all of rosewood. The school, the bookstore, like half the houses (including mailboxes). No luck.
What do I do? Luckily I stockpiled 9 gas cans before the power was cut, but I used one on my car, and I need to save 1 extra for when I need to hook a generator up to the gas pumps, so that leaves 7 in reserve.
