unstable build 42 multiplayer reintroduced?

What did they mean by that? Is multiplayer going to be disabled for that unstable build when they release it, and re-added later? Or are they doing some overhaul to it after but will still be functional?

it'll be added back in the stable b42 release. seems to be the trend with every update, persumably to avoid causing instability with mp

There is an overhaul coming for B42 MP, but yeah, it will be down for some time.

The single player build will MP fully disabled, you have to enable B41 under betas to play MP during the time period: If I had to guess, MP is probably coming sometime In June 2025 or something given their pace.

Well no because B42 unstable will be opt-in only. Meaning that unless you specifically change the properties of PZ you'll still be playing B41.78

This is so that everyone can play B42 unstable if they want to, but all the normies get to still play 41.78 with their 400+ gamebreaking mods, multiplayer, etc. :D

It means multiplayer is not available on B42 unstable.
The development cycle apparently is fix, add and adjust things during unstable branch and when much is done, they will then work on incorporating MP and fix related bugs.
