Sometimes 'features' that seem simple end up being anything but.
Aesthetics can be a priority depending on what you're going for, if it's immersion then I'd say animation is extremely important, having your character interact with the world they way you would is what creates that sense of immersion. Clicking rest while your character stands there looking at the bed/chair is very goofy, especially considering things like sleeping, watching TV, and reading books are an integral and important part of the game.
I'm not saying it's easy I'm just refuting the idea that aesthetics/animation aren't important in a game like this.
Have you ever tried playing B40 btw? You ought to, you can select it in the Steam library if you right click PZ. I tried it for like 10 minutes before going "Oh hell naw, this ain't it" :D
The difference an entire build can do is yuge. Here's hoping that B42 is an actual full build instead of a few new UIs for making clay pots and a seriously orange lighting scheme. I mean I get it, he won the election, so let's make everything orange. But c'mon.
