He is practicing for when animals will be available.
So the barn will have a place to have multiple animals drink.
So obvious:P
It's not like water just falls out of the sky. That's just, absurd.
I remember seeing water troughs that had some bit that the cows would push with their nose, and water comes out into the spot under their mouth.
Seems a lot like plumbed to me. :)
By us they used a certain type of well for them.
But where there are water tanks, they usually use that.
(There are quite a few different solutions. Even among the "farmers". Depends on how lazy they are. The lazier they are the more innovative stuff they use usually:D)
I am asking if it is possible to plumb multiple barrels (or the lower version of rain collector in my case) to a single sink.
Yes. :P But the sink will always only show the remaining water of one single barrel. But don't worry, if that one runs dry, the sink automatically connects to another full barrel. So you'll have 400 units of water per barrel placed.
I always build 8 rain barrels on top and around my sinks, so that's 3200 units of water per sink.
awesome, thanks!
ill mark this as the answer, but I have a couple of follow ups:
- does that require only one plumbing action? or once per barrel
- what if I build a new barrel after doing the plumbing action, is it added to automatically or do I need to plumb again?
Just once will do it.
This one I'm not entirely sure on, because I always pre-build the barrels and then just plumb 'em at the same time.
got it.
Thanks alot to you and everyone else :)
