even if play for free I didn't want to
It has close to perfect first week zombie apocalypse experience but after that it all falls apart.
However, Looking at the numbers? Id say Zomboid is easily one of the top 10 (at least) best zombie games on the market currently, and easily the most in-depth when compared to any other game on that list.
thats not really a zombie game
What a find. It's literally Project Zomboid in 1st person / 3rd person. Definitely keeping an eye on this one.
Agreed. I love to play CDDA now and then but i always bounce off because the controls and interface.
and everyone who currently owns the game not only gets to keep that best in class B41 experience for as long as they want - but we will also all be getting B42 for free - which is going to be incredible - and for which i feel somewhat guilty that i can't bung TIS at least an additional 5 or 10 bucks
but i shall likely buy another copy of the game at some point just to show my appreciation- since this is one of the few games where i have gotten insane value for money - many hundreds of hours - and likely to push into the thousands
this game is the Factorio of the survival genre in many ways - and i wish TIS at least as much success as Wube have achieved with their game (if they haven't already secured the financial security to keep them independent and in business indefinitely)
a true indie classic for all time
and personally, even if B42 was not a thing, and B41 became the final stable version - i would feel fully satisfied with the game as it is - and the incredible mod library
the game as it stands is the best of its kind
and yet they are far from finished with what they plan to do with it
i hope they are able to finish - and get the additional sales they deserve from every major milestone
but they have already earned my utmost respect and appreciation for their incredible contribution to gaming history - and to its present
if "This Is How I Died", then it was worth it :-)
