Is it worth it? No.
(Unfortunatly it would have been more fun if aiming from watchtowers wasn't kind of buggy.)
But I have to confess that I just found about 500 of them there. For Loot, there is a lot of everything: weapons from the guards, some (mod) blueprints, some medic stuff, a lot of things to dismantle and remarkly many choclate bars.
Blowtorch works well there too, since its mostly metal getting in your way.
True as it may be. Though, for us psychopaths, its a fun challenge and a way to hone our skills by going in there and engaging in some combat for the funsies. The prison to me would be like a arena in this regard.
