Salt and yeast are very rare

I can't make more bread or pie. I got plenty of flour but no salt and yeast. Default apocalypse loot settings. Is this a feature? I got quite a few mods, but only QOL related. Nothing that changes spawn rates.

And you should be able to make sourdough with just water, flour, and time.

Edit: I mean, in real life you can make sourdough, you can't in-game as far as I know, but I'd like to have it in game.

I tried to translate a dish from my country that is made using water, flour and mushrooms but google translate said "scumbag". Yeah, there's plenty of stuff you can do without salt and yeast.

Yeah you can also bake meat in the oven with a flour crust (salted and with aromatics makes it better) no yeast.. delish. You dont eat the crust it's just there to keep moisture in and it's just flour and water with salt

Salt and yeast can be frustrating to find but unless a mod broke something (possible, what they say they do is no guarantee of what they actually do) there ought to be some out there. Maybe in the storeroom of a convenience store or market, on rare occasions kitchen drawers.

Salt and pepper spawn all the time in diners, cafes, restaurants and fast food places. Look in the kitchen units.
Yeast spawns in stores, mega marts and bakeries/pie shops.

Vinegar is even more annoying lol To preserve vegetables you need jars (rare) lids for the jar (super rare) Sugar (common) and vinegar (super rare) Which is pretty expensive when non perishable food is plentiful and fishing/trapping/foraging can get you a weeks worth of food within 5 mins lol
