Maybe it's that because sometimes I backup the server manually because of the Vram.
Normally I would change the sandbox settings inside the game
server settings --> change sandbox settings
But if I do that the options for mods that are active don't appear and old mods that I've unsubscribed from the server still appear as if I can customize them.
Now I'm doing it both ways, giving myself admin /grant admin "user" and the sandbox tab is updated with all the mods active. Or the other way is manually with the sandbox Lua file, even doing this it stills resets to the old settings.
Meaning, if you have old mods or mods that are not enabled on the server, settings for those will show.
As for your reset issue, try going to the server save folder and delete the map_sand.bin file found there.
I don't have a map_sand.bin in my server file. Only in the [servername].player file there is one.
