Is this game worth?

In my opinion it absolutely is worth full price. I have been taking a break from the game for a bit and playing other stuff, but this is my most played game here on Steam at about 769-ish hours, but it's actually probably higher, because I did play some offline at one point too.

What you do need to know though is that the game has a very steep learning curve and as such your first 20 or so characters will die glorious deaths while you learn the game. However, as I said in my review for the game, if you and your friends have ever sat around talking about how you would survive the zombie apocalypse, then I highly recommend this game as you can pretty much put your plans to the test.

If u like survival game definitely yes. Fun time in I don't know cause it's more a little "simulation" than a fun game. But if u can play with friends of you it can be fun !

I was frustrated on my first hours in this game. But I don't know how It was like an addiction.

Worth for 19euros :)
(And u can be refound on steam if u don't like it after 1 hour)

Worth every penny. The looks and the initial hurdle might give any new player a hard time at first. But so was Minecraft. And like Minecraft this game can be so much more than the looks might give away.

The replay value is definetly there, since you will probably die a lot at the beginning of the game - depends on your playstyle though. Every death will teach you something about how to survive as long as possible, and you will discover new locations/events/mechanics for a long time until you have seen everything. With my hundreds of hours, I still haven't seen every corner of the map, hell, I haven't even been to Louisville, the largest city.

As for "Fun": Fun is entirely depending on your expectations. If you expect to be some kind of John Rambo and mow down hordes of zombies from day one, you probably won't have fun. This is not Left 4 Dead.
If you are looking for a challenging, punishing survival experience, you are looking in just the right place.

Yah im an old fart and have played one and many games out there but this one is one of my top 20 games of all my little pupper life and its mainly because of the replay value, the combat and surviving is a learning curve but if youre willing to learn and you enjoy zomber games with realism i think you will love it.

The community here and discord is great too , they always help answer any question no matter what, with no judgement.

It's a slow developer and if you have to ask if its worth it, WAIT. If you are not already convinced that you want to play it in its current state you should 100% wait and not get other people to convince you.

I'll just diverge a bit by saying, in my book, if you've got a passing interest in the title, watch let's various let's plays and give yourself some time to figure out whether the game in its current state is up to your expectations. If it is, go for it. otherwise, just wait, it's not like there is a shortage of titles to play.

With EA, always go towards it with the assumption that it this current patch might be the last patch.

I would wait for a sale, the game is great but there is a big update coming soonTM thats adding a bunch of stuff and mechanics.

its a great title and it does have quite a few interestingly themed servers online as well if you should like to try something different, community seems very friendly for the most of it as well. The workshop is also full of great mods and collections so you can tailor it to your liking with quite a lot of freedom.

Just look at their gameplay time at store page reviews. More worth than FFXIV(random comparison but $ wise...)

It's an amazing game but the upcoming patch promises to add so much more awesome stuff that it's almost kind of spoiled the current patch for me. Unfortunately that patch is taking ages, so... I haven't played much lately.

To answer your question though: yes, it's worth it, especially since you're a new player and likely aren't infected with hype for the next patch yet.

I would say yes, for me it's been worth every cent, however, before you buy, you should be aware that what Zomboid lacks in "high end" graphics, it makes up for in punishing attention to detail and brutal realism in terms of it's survival game play aspect. My 1st word of advice to any new player, is simply this, do not get precious over your character, you will die. It's not a matter of if, it's going to happen, most likely often and in gristly fashion. So, if that gets you excited, than you can feel good about a potential purchase.
