Trailers and vehicle storage
So far i think the best storage set up i have is a regular truck and small tow-along trailer.

What is everyones goto for big loot runs? Is the semi even useful with how big it is?

I have a prison bus but having to put stuff into the seats vs just a big trunk is not as cool

If the box truck had more storage i could see that and a fuel trailer being really good

Sorry, mostly just some questions from a newbie. :)

Friend and I are very new to the game, and so far I'm only practicing not to hit lamp posts and fences. Oh, and those nasty trees that jump in front of the car. ;P (First I told friend to do all the driving, but then he said said I should learn it, too. Doesn't help that I don't know how to drive a real car. :) In RL I got an e-bike for my old bones.)

Managed to get 3 or 4 cars to no longer start properly, without hitting anything or much. Wonder what did that.

Anyway, I found out in a small car that putting stuff on seats is maybe not the best idea. Couldn't change seats to get out the other side, with zombies on mine. So they ate me when I got out. (I don't know why I didn't drive away a bit first, was maybe a bit late at night. :) )

Some questions:

Are there cooling bags? Ice cream vans? Anything for cold storage transportation?

How do you drive at a constant lower speed?

I like vans. With regular truck, do you mean the really big ones you see on TV? (I wonder whether I've seen all possible cars yet.)

And how do you connect the tow-along?

`Thanks! :)

There are no cooling bags or ways to keep things cool, there are coolers but they are just normal storage, hopefully we get something in the future.

You can press shift to set cruise control then hold shift and press W or S to increase or decrease speed.

There are no large trucks in the base game yet (I don't think they are in base) but there are many vehicle mods that add them.

To connect a trailer (or another vehicle to tow) get close to the front of it with the rear of your vehicle, get out and press V while standing between them to bring up a radial menu that should have the option to connect them if the vehicles are placed correctly. V also hides your entire UI if you are not standing in the correct spot to bring up the radial menu so if that happens press V to bring it back.

As soon as I started using semi engines and trailers I could not go back. Sometimes I'll use the large box trucks just for lumber runs.

If we are talking about vanilla vehicle, the 6-seaters step-van has the best storage capacity. Any trailers you can find is a great addition. Or if you are a madlad, tow a step-van with your step-van, so you can step-van while you step-van.
