I honestly can't imagina an NPC implementation that would work for the game. They would either go the way of the Dodo by getting mobbed by zombies a planksecond after they spawn, or the game would have to give them some impossible protections to keep them alive.

I don't think the npcs would fit much with this game.

I think you just haven't seen good NPCs.

Correct, I haven't seen something that doesn't exist yet.

6 years too little for npc mmkay?
enjoy some random neolithic weapon crafting nobody asked for mmkay?

The latest thursdoid didn't mention the new animals in it, so don't count on it right away. It will likely be added as an update to 42 or POSSIBLY be pushed to 43. I would have liked to see hunting and animal husbandry come in 42, but I'm not sure sure now.

@MadDan , are you allowed to comment on this?

Personally I am excited for new crafting stuff. Stone axes and spears as they exist in the game are borderline useless due to their extremely low durability.

Same. Starting from tighty-whitey's and progressing from the stone age to rebuilding society and maybe even re-establishing the water/power grid as well as discovering/developing a zombie cure would be sick.

I think npc will be like dying light npcs when they do it. There will have some safe house and safe place for them. Or they would just barricated their house and if you lead a horde to them they will die. could be hostile npcs too where they try to mug you or something.

I'm don't think we'll have any rebuilding like that outside of mods. The game is about the death of humanity. Not a rebirth.

Finding out is easy, search the wiki. Here: https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Upcoming_versions. In short, Build 43. Tired of seeing this asked on the forums every single day.

Not to the extent that I went to, no.
