Can i make custom roads?

I'm trying to make a short driveway to my new house but i can't really figure out how to, i tried searching it up but i find not what i'm looking for exactly

Technically. You can make a custom road using dug up dirt, sand, and/or gravel. You'd want to build wooden floors first if you want to prevent trees from growing though.

So i'll build wooden floors, but can i lay asphalt or something on it?

You cannot lay asphalt, you can pour gravel on top of the wood though.
