Thank you Indie Stone
So, I've bought PZ many years ago. I can't quite remember when, or what build I started on. But I certainly know it was before cars. Now I can't say I'm a religious player, but I've clocked over 600 hours, and I've got to say. I absolutely adore the game. I love the hardcore nature of the game, and the perma death. I've been watching Indie Stone build the best survival game I've ever played, over the years.

Recently I've heard that some people are harassing the Devs, the small team responsible for this great game. So much so that in a post Indie Stone stated that they've even been considering selling PZ. I'd absolutely hate to see this love child of a game, fall into hands of people who will doubtlessly care less about the game.

Gosh, I remember I would read the weakly update on their website, just because it was fun. One time, someone sent the team a secret loot box, that they'd only get to open if they revealed something about the npc's. Indie stone was kind enough to give us the npc info dump, that we'd all been waiting for. I practically salivated while reading about the npc's, and finding out just how ambitious and dedicated, this dev team was. But it also let me knew how long that wait was going to be. Then they opened the box, and inside was an ax! A powerful tool no doubt, but still second to the crowbar. I don't know why, but at the time it made me happy, to know that I was, in some small way, a part of that community.

I like the no ETA's, the lack of crunch time, and I don't mind the time between builds. I'd rather wait for them to put out something they love, in the way they desire. But I've never been the impatient type, so when I hear about people having to wait for something, and they just can't contain themselves and have to lash out at the team responsible for the very thing they can't get enough of. Makes me disappointed, and even worried for those people. If you can't take this, then you're really going to struggle with life, when you receive actual bad news.

The Indie Stone, I just wanted to say thanks. I'm not one to post things, or rant about my opinions, this is actually my first steam post. I usually like to show my appreciation with my wallet, and I'd buy Project Zomboid many times over and probably will. I guess all I'm trying to say is, great job, keep up the good work. And don't let ankle biters take you down.

This is my favorite game. I just crossed over 1000 hours and even though I might set it aside if something new comes out, I always come back to it when the shiny new games have lost their luster.

As far as I'm concerned, this game is fully playable. Any additions are icing on the most amazing cake. If Indie Stone releases a new update once a year, that's more than enough for me. After 1000 hours there are still so many things I want to try, and so many mods and challenge maps to engage with.

Probably 400 of my thousand hours have been spent on Kingsmouth island. I love that map and I've played it so many times, but I've only completely cleared it of zoboids once. Even after all that time, i still look forward to starting up a new Kingsmouth run.

I've bought two additional copies of this game for friends (sadly I couldn't get either of them hooked on it), but I'm perfectly happy to play solo for another thousand hours, and buy copies of it for people I meet who might enjoy it.

I would mark this one as my all time favorite game. And I have played a lot so that says a lot.

I have complete faith in the Indie Stone team to create a solid game, because they have it already. The fact that they are adding more is so amazing it is hard to express.

Cheers to the Indie Stone team!

I just read about all the crap the devs have been getting. Those people should be ashamed of themselves. The devs are great and this game is great :P

As long as we're toasting:

One night the Star-Belly Sneetches were having a frankfurter roast at a few camp fires while the Plain-Belly Sneetches were depressed and out in the cold a distance away from the Star-Belly Sneetches, who did not allow the Plain-Belly Sneetches join them. The Star-Belly Sneetches then celebrate their stars in song.

There is nobody else who has one, We're the favorite few who do.
And so a toast! Raise your marshmallow stick!
A toast! Raise your good fellow stick!
A toast to the glorious gimmick-ick
That makes us what we are!
Sound off and let the welcome ring
In praise of our exclusive thing
A toast! Raise your marshmallow stick!
A toast! Raise your good fellow stick!
A toast to your bellied star!

Per my steam purchase history-

Project Zomboid: Purchased: Dec 7, 2015 @ 11:28am

I was insanely surprised when they did the glow up initially, and this next update is way beyond the moon of where I thought it would end up.
