How do I spawn with guns?

I want to goof around with guns.

Is there a mod that has a close quarters map and a "horde" gamemode?

I don't think so but the mod "More Traits" I think allows you to start with a couple of different bundles. One of which has guns. Outside of that there's a cheat menu you can download via the workshop which will allow you to spawn any item in the game. It's useful for testing purposes. Outside of that check the workshop, this game has a billion mods I'm sure one will be close to what you are looking for

The Last Stand challenge mode gives you a small map and has guns in the house I believe, and the increment version of it lets you buy guns after enough waves.

Start if Rosewood as a Police officer. You'll probably spawn in or near the police station.

you can also just add -debug to your launch options, i think it does more or less the same thing
