You guys always forget about the nukes, or any kind of epidemic, pandemic wiping out civilization. Please take them into consideration too!
Since different folks work on different material, i would say they use github or something similar.
And likely back it up;)
I'm not forgetting them , I just hope i'll be dead before any of that happens :P *crosses finger & toes*
For free ? Excuse me ? This game il constantly in the top 50 most played games on Steam, it's generating revenues from sales, the devs are getting paid. It shouldn't take 3 years between updates. I don't mind waiting, but I don't want to die before seeing the end of it !
A game like this deserve a few more devs and they sure could afford it.
yes, for free. the updates and extra content dont cost money. which means...free. come on, man.
You may remember that this game is still in Early Access, which means they HAVE to deliver updates until the game finally comes out as a whole. They are not "free", they are part of the game development.
PZ is not some shady indie game anymore, it has a huge community and a lot of player daily, it just bugs me that we need to wait 3 years for an update for a game that has such a huge playerbase even though more than 10 years have passed.
Actually, no they don't have to release updates. They could walk away from it today and face no penalties. Steam makes it quite clear that you are buying an unfinished product and that there are no guarantees that it will be finished. The team still works on this because they choose to, not because you think they have to.
