good game but it need another 10/15 years
the base of the game is here, after 11 years, maybe in the year 2035 it will become what the devs imagined it to be.

or they will drop it, one of the two.

Good game and has been well worth the money for years already. Really great of the devs to continue making content for us for free!

You guys always forget about the nukes, or any kind of epidemic, pandemic wiping out civilization. Please take them into consideration too!

Since different folks work on different material, i would say they use github or something similar.
And likely back it up;)

For free ? Excuse me ? This game il constantly in the top 50 most played games on Steam, it's generating revenues from sales, the devs are getting paid. It shouldn't take 3 years between updates. I don't mind waiting, but I don't want to die before seeing the end of it !

A game like this deserve a few more devs and they sure could afford it.

It's true, but hasn't been relevant since about 10 years. And was about a month of code, so not anything serious in the grand scheme of things. Pretty big back then for how obscure it was, team size, and all that stuff (assuming, I wasn't part of anything way back then.)

yes, for free. the updates and extra content dont cost money. which means...free. come on, man.

Honestly, I think build 41 is in a pretty good place. There's still a quite a few things that are rough on the edges, but it's a decent notch up from build 40. Looking at the roadmap, B42 might be the last update I'm really excited about. Then again, the following updates might blow my expectations.

You may remember that this game is still in Early Access, which means they HAVE to deliver updates until the game finally comes out as a whole. They are not "free", they are part of the game development.

PZ is not some shady indie game anymore, it has a huge community and a lot of player daily, it just bugs me that we need to wait 3 years for an update for a game that has such a huge playerbase even though more than 10 years have passed.

Actually, no they don't have to release updates. They could walk away from it today and face no penalties. Steam makes it quite clear that you are buying an unfinished product and that there are no guarantees that it will be finished. The team still works on this because they choose to, not because you think they have to.
