Backpacks - where?
Hi folks,
I have seen one backpack in several hours of playing and exploring. Where do you find them?

I'm gonna assume you mean ONLY backpacks, and not duffel bags and the such. Large and Military backpacks can be found on survivor zombies and in survivor houses, which are more RNG based. They are common at military bases and military surplus stores. Idk if you're asking about those, but I'll throw in that school bags can be found at schools. I rarely find duffel bags, satchels, and things like that on anything but zombies, but they seem to spawn on any type of zombie and not just the survivor ones like the large ones do.

Basically school area, either inside or on zambies roaming near it. Like Rabbit said.

Yeah tbh just a "basic backpack" if such a thing exists?

I usually head to a school early on and plunder the lockers for a school bag, or kill a zombie that has one nearby.

Closest thing to a "basic backpack" will likely be a school bag, which just looks like your typical backpack. Though there are skin types where it can look like a normal blue backpack or black backpack with Spiffo my beloved on it.

Great! If it's still your first few playthroughs, don't feel ashamed to increase loot amount or decrease zombie amount until you feel comfortable with the mechanics. Seen you asking other questions so I figured you're quite new.

I am yeah. I did create a custom sandbox with those sorts of tweaks, as I found the default survival mode too hard.
