How do I restart server to Day 1?

I want to delete characters and wipe all the changes to the map. Basically, I want to hard reset the server but i don't see an option for it just 'soft reset' or 'delete world'

How do I do this? Please provide EXPLICIT INSTRUCTIONS, file names and path.

Wouldn't that just be deleting it and starting a new one? I mean, that's effectively the exact same thing you want to do.

no, i don't want to do that, i wan't to keep the settings and mod set up I currently have

I believe you can save the settings and load them on the map setup. I don't believe there is a way to to reset and delete everything like you're asking, that's essentially what the delete world option is for.

If you're using the "Host" option from the menu, there are two separate buttons for this, "Delete Player" (deletes savedata) and "Delete World" (wipes world back to beginning). Both will not delete your *settings*, which is what contains mods and changes you've made to the sandbox. If you want to wipe things back to day 1 and keep your mods, just click the 'Delete World' button.
