Boredom-Depression

Admittedly, i am a newbie, but this boredom effect seems to happen way to often.

I wake up at 5, I start cooking up some food items, by 8 I am extremely bored, and as a result, severely depressed. Why would I be bored and depressed cooking a few meals up?

I am hating this boredom effect. I raised my game time to 4 hr days, hoping it would happen less often, it doesn't...at least not noticeably.

Yes, there are books etc, antidepressants, comics, blah blah. There is plenty to remove it, but its annoying as Fu**

You shouldnt be constantly bored. How can I go from panicked to bored in a matter of an hour?

Everything but fighting zombies seems to make the avatar bored. "oh look, I'm bored, lets go outside and kill a zombie right quick" ...fine, but every 2-3 hrs?

This seems unbalanced, its just to often. There is to much to do at base, to much meandering around to be plagued by boredom. The boredom effect is actually making ME bored.

Am I missing something?

If u bored go outside the house don't sit in there too much, if u in depression read comics, books, drink/eat food with +greenhappiness effect

Boredom goes up over time while you are indoors and goes down over time while you are outdoors. So just pop up on the roof or outside from time to time to manage it while you are at base. Any tasks you can do at a safe spot outside should probably be done outside if you keep getting bored.

I agree the Boredom system is totally out of realistic. I didn't have any chance to live in zombie-breakout ♥♥♥♥ but when PLA tanks rolling on the street and shooting unarmed people, I was very glad I was in home all days long, and back then we didn't even have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ television.
