I played last night and it was still an issue. This is a great mod but one that I cant use on my MP server till it gets a bit more love. The work done so far is jaw dropping so I must say this is a daily check for me to see if there has been an update to fig out the bug yet.

Any Helicopter Sounds will play forever, like in Heli crashed sound goes on
Quick fix for this bug is to quit to menu and then load again the save. I pretty find it effective tho, it happened to me a couple of times and it seems pretty helpful with this bug

For any audio bug just simply relog and exit the game.. No need to bash a good mod. Least it functions near perfectly now.

Alas thats not really an option for a multiplayer server that has 16 plus folks logged in :(. Fun mod but I sure wish that one pesky sound bug could be figured out.

Server restart?
Our audio bugs are usually gone after one. We get an electric sound bug from hot wiring cars.

The server doesnt need a reset, just the players having the bug need to relog. It takes 2 seconds rather than restarting for people who arent near the location of the helicopter audio.

Its simple.

Yes the bug needs to be fixed but recommending against using the mod for this 1 reason is laughable.

Well this is just me and my server, to each their own. I never suggested to anyone they don't use it, As to your "fix" lets be honest, it takes more like 2-3 min to log off and back in on a remote multiplayer server. This can really jam up a city run and wax any momentum when you wait for your crew of 6 to staggeringly log off and back on. If you play by yourself or with a small crew its less of an issue, but we tend to have a healthy active server that would be more hurt by this mod due to disruption of events it would cause by the players needing to consistently "fix" their sound as we wait on everyone to log off and back in. This is the same reason I don't enable sleep. Its too much of a hassle to coordinate. Its a great mod and its free so all the love to the modders as I said up top, but a bug is a bug is a bug, and all the sugar coating work arounds in the world wont make it work where it wont. Only code digging will do that.

On a side note I also run a DevOps dept IRL and have to consistently ♥♥♥♥♥ to our Devs about putting proper log msging in the apps they build so we can fig out wtf is wrong when stuff does not work as it should, so I am a bit more sensitive to long standing production lvl bugs in mass used code.
