Disappointed it wasn't the beta release, but loving all I'm seeing, is there a list for the qol things to be added? Can't wait to finally get to build the hanging gardens of Babylon, with mixing and matching the new plants, plus the new walls, I think I'm gonna make a work of art lol

With how dark it can get with the new lighting upgrade, I hope we can also get new, alternative handheld light source. Or the option to change battery consumption speed at least. Because, man, with the way battery works for flashlights and torches right now, I feel like we'll need dozens of battery just to explore a single basement.

Opinion on the new moodles shown in the blog?
Me personally I think that the old ones are perfect and the new ones look a bit out of touch with the games graphics.

Chance for player built underground structures?
Since they're adding in underground structures i'm wondering if at any point in the future there would be any potential for players to build basements or things similarly shown in the new blog update.

If anyone has any news of this please update me or just share you opinions on what you think of this idea.

From the blog:

It’s also worth mentioning that in 42, or at least certainly its unstable release, you will not be able to tunnel or break down the external walls of underground structures. This is something it would be healthy for the engine to be able to do (although we’d never have Minecraft-style insta-tunnels in vanilla, clearly) but is probably a can of worms best opened later down the line.

Agreed on the moodles, while I know some people would probably like them I personally prefer the style we've had for years now. Hopefully if they do implement these there's a choice to switch back to the old ones

By the time this update actually drops I will probably be riding around in a wheelchair due to old age.

Vision changes:
I just hope that the blurred vision is different for near-sighted, and far-sighted; perhaps a trait for both, instead of just making the whole screen go fuzzy.
Looking forward to the rest with or without glasses!
