I like to set sprinters to 1%, meaning that 1% of all zombies spawned will be a sprinter. The rest are a mix of slow/fast shamblers and crawlers (I set crawlers to 4%)
It's enough to keep me on my toes. Generally I'll only encounter one sprinter at a given time, but sometimes if I'm running over a long distance and agroing a lot of zeds I might get 2-3 which proves way more troublesome.
These percentages are fully customizable using that mod, so if you want more sprinters you can crank it up to whatever % you'd like.

Max zombies are present start of game, no slow work up.
Each 1% past 5% makes a big difference.
However, the spawn rates make it so they're EXTREMELY rare and Super Sprinters
