A Cautionary Tale of Hosting a Server on Linux
Thus one Evening my Fellows and I decided to play some Project Zomboid with a chunk of mods to say the least, however we were befallen by a peculiar issue.

It was Groundhog Day our world was resetting, every day I would wake up and it was like the world didn't change, I thought I was going mad but no.

"Confound it!" I said all those Hours Spent building the Perfect Safehouse only to have it return as if God was making a joke of my Blood(Mostly Zombies), Sweat and Tears.

HOW COULD HE FORSAKE ME.

alright enough theatrics, I ran into a Issue hosting a Dedicated Steam Server for Project Zomboid where the World was not saving correctly, while I can't pin point precisely the Issue I have partially fixed it with a Band aid by running the Server as a Different User on my System rather than the one I play the Game normally with.

So far I am just running it as Root but I am about to move it to a brand new user for testing.

Thus ends my Cautionary Tale.

EDIT 1: Indeed using any other User other than the User I am playing the Game with actually Works.

TLDR: World didn't Save, Run Server as another User
