You can always go to the store page and click on the tags the game has. It will redirect you to a list of games with similar tags

I did, steam is so full of bs games that its hard to find whats good in the sea of crap. Ive played pretty much every mainstream survival game and haven't found anything that has the depth of PZ as of yet.

I got the game for 5$ and with 50 hours I still feel like ive barely scratched the surface. Mind you I dont watch tutorial vids on YT which would probably speed up my progress. But I enjoy failing and learning everything in game. Its a pretty damn good game and I cant say that about most games ive played in the last 5 ish years aha.

You'll like Valheim and Terraria. Give State of Decay 2 a shot, it's a more arcadey version of PZ.

Give Humantiz a try. It's one of my favorites, and a bit different approach, but a similar game.

STALKER anomaly, very immersive, but no basebuild here.
In the feeling of surviving it is similar, eat, drink, sleep, without fast travel, everything kills you, look for 4fun playing anomaly :spiffo:

There are others similar in some aspects, but none really equals. The two shared above are close, but also don't look like PZ. Days Gone is good, and has an NPC angle that is nice. But the game play is limited.

Darkwood is similar in many ways, it's one of the best games I've ever played. The camera angle and controls are similar as well and it has a survival element.

you can try the Zombieland mod for Rimworld:

also Day Z, although it's multiplayer. but u can play solo if u want. it has the same gameplay loop as Zomboid, where you go house-to-house to loot, and can build your own base / shelter.
