Best way to get rid off (or use) empty cans?
I am playing on sandbox and i made it so canned food spawned more frequently. Sadly, the tin cans does not magically disapear from my inventory after i devoured the stuff inside then.

Is there any way to permanently remove then? (if possible without mods) And if it is not possible, any tricks on how to dump then easily without bothering me on my base?

1) Put them into a dead-dead zombies inventory. The zombie rots away over time and the can disappears.
2) Put them into a round metal trash bin and press the "delete all"-button in the menu of the trashcan
3) Put them into an angular shaped green plastic trash bin and press the "delete all"-button in the menu of the trashcan

4) Wait for the 42.0 update to hit the stable branch. You might be able to melt them down for metal at that point.

Tips 1-3 also apply for broken (stone) axes and crafted spears if you don't want to repair them (anymore).

Toss them to a garbage bin and delete them.

Zombie inventory is what I normally do. You could also add them to the world removal list. Allows you to throw it on the ground and the game will auto delete over time.
