Sack, Shovel, pick up dirt, place dirt indoors.
Shovel/trowel/hands, dig furrows
Plant seeds
Water

You have to water it a LOT more than when it's outside, though, because 100% of the water comes from you watering it now, instead of any time it rains or drizzles it topping your crops back up to 100 water.

also how would i keep my building warm because eventually the power is gonna cut out and obviously i can't start a fire on the wood floor

Use an oven to warm your base. If there is no power get a generator and then turn on the oven.

Look through crates at a warehouse location. Chances are decent you might find something.

Zomboid plants can actually survive at any temperature as long as they're cared for. They regenerate health faster than temperature can harm them.

That being said, growing indoors in ultrawinter scenarios can be a fun challenge and it's more immersive. :)

This mod "Winter Farming" changes plant temperature mechanics, but I've never tried it.

It would be completely feasible to make a greenhouse out of windows. They are my #1 pick for inclusion as lootable items! I personally IRL know how to take apart a double-hung window as it was my first annual job.

Old-fashioned stove in the middle of a bunch of plots works well whenever the indoor temp dips close to freezing. I think 50+ (f) is totally fine. Below freezing is where you need to water constantly. Temp, water, and watching for mildew/flies are the main things. Outside is ideal but not required.

Not in this build. But they'll never get rainwater, so you need to stay ontop of watering them manually.
they should add grow lights then!

Why not check guides, videos, use the search function?
Or perhaps learn first the basics of the game before you add additional difficulty to your game via mods?

No you can't. Campfires will definitely burn those wooden floors. You need to surround the campfire with non-burnable layer first. Like sand and gravel.

Well i mean... you COULD start a fire on wood floors, nothing is actually stopping you from doing it, its just that their are many consequences for doing so.

An indoor room

Heatsource. Either a campfire on a dirt/sand tile or an Antique Stove

Water source

And dirt floor tiles for plants

Plant Crops like normal but keep the room heated and you gotta water the Crops yourself. That's it
