Remote Play Together on Same Account?
Is it possible, or should I just use my other account? I have it for some multiplaying etc., but it feels weird that I'd have to buy something for 5 bucks to play a game I own, that my friends can play for free with me.

How would that work exactly? In this scenario I mean, using the same account?

technically you own nothing... anything bought digitally is owned by the person/company that sold it to you... you are only renting it and most contracts say that they can take it back for any reason as it is not in fact owned by you.

That is how the modern day gaming works... nothing you buy is ever yours... at least online anyways.

I got it to work a little bit by pressing connect on the game, but I guess my internet at the moment is not good enough for it to stream anything like this live.

Just so we are clear, only the host needs to actually own the game on Steam in order to use Remote Play Together.
You use your account with the game and invite other people. It doesn't matter if they have the game or not.

Yeah, that's a good point to make. Using it on your own account however seems to work though it apparently streams the audio to the recipient and not the host, though further testing is needed since connection was not good. Using a dud account should work if you buy something for 5 bucks so you can actually invite people as your friends.

Yes, you can use Remote Play Together to play PZ in local MP with your friends. It works amazingly well actually.
