Although you can use the cut trees command intentionally to run those extra durability checks as each one you pass that doesnt consume any durability still awards maintenance EXP, plus you can use speed-up commands while doing so to quickly raise maintenance with stone axes and such.
I dont think so... not in base game atleast.
I mean I'm dismantling things. Pulling nails out, not putting them in. A crowbar would make much more sense for that. If I'm taking things apart with a hammer I'm basically just smashing them.
A quick google search and I found out that it's called claw hammer. And that's the hammer model that the game uses.
