so would i need another steam account with the game purchased to use the dedicated server function with mods? I can't even get the server to load up when having mods selected since i get this message. Works no problem running vanilla
The mod subs are free so a new account would just need to sub the mods.
However what I did to back door the same PC thing is make a user2 account and shiftclick the 64.bat and run as user2.
okay, but i am not hosting on the same pc.
I have PC A that I use to play all my games and everyday use, and then I have PC B that is my homelab that i strictly use for SteamCMD for hosting dedicated servers like rust, satisfactory, and now project zomboid.
You may not need to have the mods subscribed on the steam account itself. It just needs to log in.
Do you have this file path to mods? You may need to make a folder.
Thats the ids for the mod you have.
Workshop ID: 2611652130
Mod ID: DRK_1
I do not have a steamapps folder in the dedicated server directory. I just tried adding that folder path and running again, but the same issue.
You should re-post this in support and @Beard will get you set up. He is a good at solving these things.
