I died from drinking??

My character of almost 3 months died from drinking alcohol. I did not take any pills at all, had 0 wounds, nothing. I woke up ate food, went fishing, came back, ate more, drank two bottles of wine then died from an overdose yet I took 0 pills. What killed me?

If that was why you died, then I would go with that.

There are so many things that can lead to death in this game, it will be hard to say why.
So answer all the questions people throw at you as they try to guess. Maybe it can be narrowed down to a certain factor.

I have my doubts the alcohol alone killed your character.
You'd need to take several sleeping pills in addition to that.
Apparently there's a mod that kills when eating with dirty hands.
Do you have a mod like that enabled?

In RL soloing two bottles of wine is going to put you close to a looooooong nap on its own, so I guess its possible. Depending on the wine you are looking at downing an entire bottle of whiskey in alcohol content. Both will have you waking up dead from aspirating though your own vomit.

We can rule out alcohol AND pills, as that was one bit of info given in the opening statements.

Lots of other factors are totally unknown though.
Like a first major question: MODS? If yes, mods, then the why reasons wont be as clear.

How in game did you come to that conclusion? Was there a moodle telling you? was the "you survived "x" many days" floaty box telling you overdose?

I can imagine an easy way to find out if vanilla code drinking alcohol can kill you, would be to boot up a debug test game and go to town drinking and sleeping. You will know if that can kill you in a few short minutes. Then if no, it was something else.

bruh! i once ate like a few thing of many painkillers to die and nothing happened had to stand in a camp fire for a minute before i died, still turned even when i burned to death but the zombie also burning to death so??? i wonder if you heal when becoming a zombie like if a guy was deaf or cripple would the zombie version be healed of all that stuff cuz i have never seen a deaf or crippled zombie or maybe a couple hundred zombies before i stomp them out at lest, idk.

Zombies can heal by eating corpses. a fully healed zombie doesnt eat a corpse for very long. I tried to get a good watch on them eating player corpses. Study the behaviour. Wanted to see if it is corpse eating that makes them turn grey eventually the zom is old and he is greyish. Funny rotten skin colour.

But anyways. from what i seen

Zombies eating corpses they all eat for a differnt length of time, some of them drop down and get stragith back up. Eating can produce a small particle effect, and it will also produce blood splatter. When zombie is no longer hungry it stops eating. Multiple zombies can feed from a corpse at one time.
