I started with the most op character i could make, and i'm doing good so far. I want to gradually make it more difficult, after i learn the map better and some more tactics. I usually play a really cdda, but never with so many zombies in such tight spaces :D

I've done it with sprinters and cyrogenic winter going too. You just need to tough it out.

Yeah its possible I start all my games downtown =D

Just take it slow, carve out a small area for yourself and stay vigilant because more will always show up near your base!

i mean everything difficult is only difficult because you havent found the easy way to do it yet, so with that in mind have a good go!

i usually only play apocalypse but with a char that uses all three +10 negative traits (i think it was called weak, unfit and obese) so i wouldnt get very far at least if there are sprinters too xD

Just as easy as starting towns, just more loot

Depends on which mods you got. If you can get yourself some decent weapons then it's fairy easy to survive in downtown LV for weeks/months.
And do you mean the game mode of "Six months later" or literally go to LV after 6 months? If the latter then it's far easier, I think the rare loot spawn rate goes pretty high after first one or two months, now I can got far more than enough hand-axes and hunting knives and lighters and so on from killing zombies.
ps- Also depends on which season you started. Winter is most challenging for sure.

I started with the six months later settings, i modified the loot rarity to extremely rare, and i tried to make balanced character which is not too hard or not too op. Ps: I only use filibuster used cars mod, some Quality of Life mods and pillows random spawns.

Louisville is easy, try modded real urban cities

Changed my settings to insanely rare loot, lower zombie respawn, other settings like lower car condition, changed from 6 months later settings.
Day 1: Spawned in apartment complex building (4 homes in each building) with zombies inside, i started looting the general area, and started clearing zombies. I also trained my sneak to level 5
Day 2: I have looted like 3 apartment complex, found a crowbar, enough food for maybe a week, continuing to clear zombies.
Day 3: I stepped on some glass while clearing zombies, my shoes had broken somehow, i got 2 glass shards in both of my feet, trying to find a needle.
Day 4: After clearing more zombies, and around 10 apartment complexes, i still haven't found a needle, only bunch of food and books, i have to limp everywhere, sneaking is faster than walking. I don't know what to do, when the helicopter eventually comes, i can't outrun the zombies :(
I'm not sure where you're at in LV but there is a sewing shop on the east side of town. It's across the street from a large food mart and I think right next door to an electronics store.

I think what you need is tweezers.
