Freezers and fridgs with more space?

Trying to find mod or some thing with large storage capacity. And cant find anything. Losing so much food to rotting :-/ Found lot of food but over 70% is going to rot away.

Depending where you spawn, there are Popsicle fridges in every town, usually 3 minimum. If you can get all 3 in Muldraugh on Day 1, you can freeze enough food to last until Winter and then some. It's all just part of learning the game and strategizing for long term survival.

Muldraugh Popsicle fridge locations:
1 in grocery store next to the medical center, 1 on second floor of hotel at main strip, 1 next door from hotel at the gas station.

If I recall, the in-game map will show each building with their respective color code. Just look for areas marked as Retail & Commercial, which should include gas stations and grocery stores. These places tend to have freezers with ICE written on it. And those freezers are the best for food storage.

Pretty much every gas station has a popsicle freezer.

Use the next door neighbor's fridge too. It's worth an extra trip for a second generator when the power goes out

One generator should be able to run many fridges. You can pick them up and bring them to your base, just like any other piece of furniture when empty.

You don't need any skill to pick up fridges. Unless if you were talking about the generator, you just need to find the magazine.

Actually for normal freezers i think you do. For popsicle freezers you do not, but you can ruin it when you take it apart:D and assemble.
(I seem to recall fridges needing 3 electrical skills? But might have changed, or str?)

You don't need any skill for any fridges. They are just heavy as ♥♥♥♥ and require you to empty your pockets.

If you get a BBQ oven, popsicle fridge you are set.

I use "Methyl capacity pack b41" totally overkill and you need to craft em, but great for having fewer containers

If you get a BBQ oven, popsicle fridge you are set.

You are probably talking about the deep fryer from restaurants. That thing requires level 3 electrical for whatever reason.
