Text too small

Hi there,

I'm having some trouble with the font size of the game.
Wherever a text is shower, it is too small for me to read confortably.
This extremely desmotivates me to play the game.

I have already tried to lower the resolution of the screen, or increase the Inventory Font Size, but it didnt help.

Anyone have the same issue?
Do you of you guys knows if the developers are working on it?
I really want to enjoy this game, mas this thing has been a real deal breaker for me =(

That's currently the only method available, though this may change in the future.

Thanks man, already did it. I had some compatibility problems but I solved it with windows compatibility problem for high DPI scales.
But I still want to increase the font size.

Does anyone knows how to change manually on the source files?

I don't think you can, but I feel you. I prefer to play on 1920 x 1080 and I also don't play sitting at a desk so the text is a real pain to read. Hopefully they scale it up a bit for higher resolution settings.

I lowered my resolution and set the font size to large and I still can't read the tutorial font or my inventory/stats font. This is unplayable for me, I'm so disappointed.

I lowered the resolution trying every resolution to test but the entire window is small and even with large font it's unreadable.

When we started making the game, 1080p was the go to resolution. UI rework hasn't been a big priority so far. We'll get to it later down the line. Thanks for the reminder.

The game has been around for 6 or so years now. When can we expect this? 2028?

Plenty of games aren't DPI aware. We'll make sure to play nice with higher resolutions, eventually, but right now we have more important stuff on our plate.
If you want to be cross about it, fine. Yes, you can expect it by 2028.

Sorry man. I just regret buying this game and I keep holding on to hope that it's going to get cleaned up.

Like I mentioned (after an edit), there is just more important stuff to do at the moment. UI rework is planned. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm on a 4k laptop, and I'm doing a workaround where I set the in-game res to a little under 2k, then launching a Windows tool called Magnifier.

No one specified whether he was playing IWBUMS. If not and he's using build 40, Big Freakin' Fonts (posted above) makes the experience much more 'playable.' You can use it on any server you wish to join or locally of course. I wouldn't roll without it.
