Launch the game. Press the steam button and select “controller”. Then edit the preset to enable back buttons and then assign whatever you want to them.
Awesome thanks buddy!
Having the zoom feature bound to the paddles kept my fingers moving since it requires multiple presses, and binding paddles to the other functions has improved my game dramatically and allowed me to play with auto zoom turned on.
Cool setup. I also tried assigning the zoom to the right pad. Clockwise to zoom in and counterclockwise to zoom out. It worked well but honestly gave up on it once I got used to bringing up the wheel to zoom.
Honestly this game works so good on Steam Deck that when I play on PC I actually prefer a controller over mouse & keyboard now (which I am also ashamed to admit).
My only complaint is the lack of cloud saves. But I actually like having two distinct games going now, so it actually isn’t a big deal.
