Rifle Slings.. WTF

I'm running on build 41.78.16. I have attempted to use Noir's Rifle Slings, Akayet's Rifle Sling Mod, Sling Mod Custom, and several other mods. I have the G.E.A.R Basic and CORE as well. I've ran them all individually to no effect. I'm not sure why it doesn't work but it's super frustrating because I love these mods. Is anyone running a rifle sling mod that works??

im using Noir's Rifle Slings and its works just fine for singleplayer and in multiplayer. Im able to find them and craft them. I don't use G.E.A.R Basic and CORE, but they seem to to nothing on their own, just functions for modders to use in their mod.

Are you trying to add sling mods mid game or what?

No I'm making entirely new worlds to test this, then I'm in debug mode checking if the sling is in the item list. I had to go down to build 41.77 to get these to work unfortunately
