I mean I guess you can have your own goals to "win" but there's not real objective other than to survive
I can't think of a game that allows you to invest in the "main character" like this one at the exact same way.

Do things a bit differently to what you did before, try a new profession. I went with repairman, and now view it very highly.
Have a goal, like clearing Rosewood, taking over the prison, establishing multiple bases, collecting all the crosses/jewellery.
Go custom settings, and shake things up a little. Like starting at night.
Begin and have fun.
