Infection chance
I've played this game quite a bit but recently have had really ♥♥♥♥ luck with infections. I was wondering if anything changed and I missed it? My last 5 attempts have died on the first wound - 3 scratches and 2 lacerations. I get bad luck but that seems super bad.

scratches, 7% chance of zombie virus infection. Lacerations, 25% chance. Bite, 100%.

You're just getting very bad luck. Also make sure you're not just dying from corpse sickness from dead zombies being around you.

Is it 7 and 25? I thought it was 10 and 25. Bad luck is bad luck though I guess. I'll get it right next time.

I could be wrong but I'm fairly sure it's 7%.

It used to be 5, now 7%. Never been 10% afaik.

Yep, and for some reason i allways recall 6%:D

Well to the Original Poster, sadly this thing happens. I cannot even tell you how many guys i lost to an accidantel scratch around the time i had 500 hours. And interestingly none to lacerations. (But at 700 hour it was the other way around scratch no problemo laceration certain death:D)

I feel like this games in a weird spot. If you play it safe its boring and if you play it loose its frustrating. Doesn't seem to keep me from coming back though so I guess they did it right.

If it keeps happening could be a mod thing going on, assuming you're playing with any.

i actually hate the infections you get bit once from wandering and then its like i might as well go suicide and no hope

i disable it

or get mod that allows u to find a cure but better yet disable it infection suck
