Intel Core i7-10750H 2 cores @ 2.60Ghz
16GB of RAM
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060
Windows 11
Might be Windows 11 being windows 11, or the graphics drivers being outdated.
Drivers are fully updated and I am using no mods on a clean install
Low pop always and I've reinstalled the game 12 times so far, Verified files and nothing is corrupt or missing
How do I properly do a clean install?
It also stutters in a multiplayer game
1. Unsubscribe from all workshop items;
Then over on the right handside where your profile pic is you'll see My Files, click the dropdown list and choose subscribed items and unsubscribe from all.
Then go to Steam / settings / downloads and clear the download cache.
2.Uninstall the game, then go to these locations and delete any folders that may be left over
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content delete the appropriate ID game folder (Or wherever it is)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common delete the Zomboid folder. (Or wherever it is)
3.Reboot your pc/laptop at this point
4.Reinstall the game then verify the cache.
*Wait for the downloads to finish before verifying the cache.
Then try loading the game without any mods or assets and play a new game, if alls good close the game and enjoy.
2.6hz Dual core is under the minimum, plus you have windows and everything else.
Could be the problem.
That processor has 6.
It's brand new. It's on the FCBGA1440 socket so it's some prebuilt. RAM is probably DDR4 and windows 11 probably came pre-installed
There's probably more going on here in the background than just PZ
it literally say's 2 cores for my processor description, weird how project zomboid struggles to work and stutters when I can put my settings for cyberpunk 2077 on ultra and get buttery smooth 75-90 fps, unless my processor description is flat out wrong and I actually have more cores than what my system is telling me.
EDIT: it does say I have 4 processors so idk what that means 2 cores 4 processors
