On the topic of wounds, wish bandages ran out of uses like how towels do
As for mods, there's one in the server I'm on where you can craft a cure BUT (this is important as making a cure easily accessible would destroy game balance) requires a ton of rare and exotic ingredients, in addition to maxing out first aid, and cooking. Antibiotics are part of the equation. A big reason for the mod isn't even to make getting bitten harmless but rather to incentive levelling and looting which would otherwise be ignored. The electrical skill is still useless after you get hotwire though, hard to justify needing that to make a cure, heh.
