Whole fish is good for calorie bulking as you can eat it in one go and shoot up your weight
It depends upon context
Sometimes I cook the fish then fillet, sometimes i fillet then cook those. I never really crunch the numbers for max benefit, but it is something I bet you could research yourself while in game and fishing and cooking.
I have been taking fitness instructor or at least nutritionist trait to see more info on food and calories since the finalization of build 41.
Why tho, I already cooked it
I do not like tuna. fact. I saw a can in a store and thought "dang, that looks good. I want a tuna sandwich." I get home and make one. take a bite. INSTANT SADNESS as I gag and drool it out into the trash bin. YUK. I still hate tuna. Maybe your character does not enjoy fish either.
Could it have been tagged as stale? that will net you +10 Boredom and Unhappiness
so cut it into pieces :-) that's the only reason to use fillets.
I mean you are just kind of standing there gnawing on a cooked whole fish, spitting out bones and scales. Cutting the fish makes fillets without skin, bones or scales. I mean i would be pretty sad having to try to eat a whole fish.
Oh and the guts, lets not forget the guts. So yeah, whole fish = depressing.
