NPC UPDATE WHEN?

Hey guys I don't follow this game. I purchased it a while back and heard an NPC update was near. So I've waited to play all this time. Curious if that NPC update was released yet or how long until it's arrival? Thanks.

yes yes I think that was when I heard it was coming soon was Dec22 update reveal. Then I keep telling myself to wait to start this game. Honestly the update can't come soon enough, everyone that I have ever teamed up with is no longer interested in playing co-op and everyone seems to be waiting on the big NPC update.

Be advised that NPCs will likely take a few years and the game is already good. You may be missing something while waiting.

I've been hearing that it's going to come with build 43. You should read up on what the dev's have said about it if you haven't already. It's mind blowing how clever it is.

I can actually program too. I can blend 3d art work and use vectors as well. Making video games isn't rocket science. What baffles me is why did they talk about it last year when it's so far away? It really misled me in the wrong direction. Just disappointed is all as the way it sounded was it was coming soonish.

I just hope after all this time it's actually good... like you can interact with them, recruit, create factions, put them to work, make them join you on raids, etc. If it's just some dude running around then idk wtf took them so long.

They'll be doing it in three stages so the first ones will likely be that basic.

You're probably right... pretty sad it's going to take them another 5 years to do something a handful of modders have done in a few weeks/months.

They are already developing NPC alongside Build 42 crafting system, these two stuff is parallel. Also if you follow thursdoid they literally show you the video about how npc works, clearly progress is being done

Next update will be the update before the update that will lead to the update before the update reintroducing NPCs. However, this is subject to change.

There were actually still NPCs in the game when I first (and last) played it. Then I decided I am going to wait for them to be reintroduced before continuing. I think that was about 10 years ago. But I am happy to wait another 10, nay 20!
