Project Zomboid workshop item version is different than server’s

so, im hosting a server on a laptop (same account as here) and its been working fine for me and friends aswell but now the error on the tittle is getting on my nerves.
i've tried to remove workshop folders and generally trying to check what mod is the problem but since the game doesn't tell me which one is, i need some external help.

so unsubscribing from all mods + deleting workshop folder did it, thanks!

Ya sometimes mods don't like to fully unsub and the files might linger around

I had an issue once where I subbed to a Backpack inventory increaser mod and removed it due to duplicating my starter kit

After removing it the files didn't leave my game so no matter what I would spawn with 2 starter kits even if starter kits were disabled

Removing the lingering files fixed my problem lol

The game actually does tell you (im not sure if it tells you 100% of the time) which mod(s) are the wrong version. The thing is tho, it only flashes this message for a split second while connecting to the server, then it overwrites it with "Workshop item version is different than the server" EVEN THO it says that on the previous screen, where it tells you which mod is the wrong version. Devs seriously need to fix this... I know they're busy working on B42 but this is ridiculous and no reason it should be like this.

instead into a thread which is quite old with the last reply so long ago it might be closed by a moderator soon enough to avoid confusion.
Game hosts can also use the tip mentioned here in the meanwhile to bypass the issue
