Don't confuse wound infections with the knox infection; Wound infections show as 'Infected' in the health panel, these just make it take longer to heal. The Knox infection however, when contracted, will not ever explicitly tell you that you have it- You just gradually get the symptoms and eventually die.
But other possibilities:
Are there any zombie corpses nearby? Can you hear buzzing flies? If so, you're suffering from corpse miasma- you need to get them away from your area; or vacate the area yourself. Being near too many corpses makes you ill.
What have you eaten recently? Any berries or mushrooms? You might've eaten a poisonous one. Any burnt food? That'll make you sick.
there are mods that will allow you to survive via a cure or turning off infection in the settings.
Otherwise, it seems like youre done for.
3. There are also somr cure mods for Knox infection here are two there are several
