Is it smart to put a metal pan in a microwave if you want to cook? No.
Is it smart to put a metal pan in a microwave to burn down a house and attract zombies to it? Yes.
It confuses the game logic
Maybe it will cook faster.
If you plan on using a microwave to disinfect or cook food in metal pots/pans, be prepared for a potential fire (keep extra water containers nearby that you can dump on the fire) I just barely saved my warehouse by using the pot of water I was using to disinfect
Few seconds later i had a fire in my house, microwave gone, oven gone, bathtub full with water gone and my library of lvl 1,2 and 3 books gone.
Still could be worse, the fire died down and did not burn down my whole house. Memo to myself, never do that again, should have used the regular oven.
But you get marshmallows, and then have a delicious fire snack. They're in the game, after all... I think.
